The International Activities Club

"Bringing enrichment to your school"

The International Activities Club (IAC) exists to help school children gain skills and confidence through a program of organized after-school or elective-period classes. Offering a variety of activities, children learn and have fun at the same time!

Activities include:
 •  Chess, Dance and Drama classes
 •  Sports — Basketball, Soccer and Volleyball

Chess improves critical thinking skills, problem solving and concentration. Dance and drama helps students develop poise and self-confidence. The sports activities aid hand-eye coordination and instill a sense of sportsmanship and team playing, which will pay off later in life. All activities are fun!

Why IAC?

The International Activities Club was founded in 2002 by two brothers, Jason and Justin Perez. Both are actively involved as managing directors and sometime-instructors.
  • Jason is a Deputy Sheriff in Orange County, CA. He holds a B.A. in Political Science, and a Masters in History. Since 1999, he has played with the O.C. Lawmen, an NPSFL-sponsored organization that raises money for under-privileged children in Orange County.
  • Justin is devoted full-time to IAC. Also known as "The Chessman," he has an extensive background as a Chess and sports instructor in the Marin County and Orange County school districts. In 1999, he was awarded "Special Congressional Recognition" for meritorious service to youth, in the Education category.
  • All IAC employees have extensive credentials and experience in youth learning principles, are bonded, and have undergone a rigorous health screening (including TB testing).

We believe that the most compelling answer to the question, "Why IAC?" comes from our legion of satisfied kids, parents and teachers. Please contact us today if you have questions or would like referrals.
